Promoting connections between the local community and our veterans, Wingecarribee Remembers is a month-long exhibition, acknowledging our Vietnam veterans and their 50 years of life post conflict.  From the 6th to the 31st of May, the Moss Vale Civic Centre’s Atrium exhibition space will host artworks and screenings of a documentary video that has been produced especially to accompany the exhibition. The exhibition also features paintings by the multi-award-winning artist, Ben Quilty, alongside diverse Vietnam war artefacts. Quilty was Australia’s official war artist in 2011. Local restaurateur, Nui Dat Charity founder and 2024 Australia Day Citizen Nominee, Vinh Tran, has also contributed military memorabilia and a vehicle from his collection ‘Military Vehicle for Charity Inc.’.

This exhibition is hosted by Wingecarribee Shire Council in partnership with Moss Vale RSL sub-Branch as well as local organisations and individuals.
