Emerging Artist Concert Series presents; From the Veils of the Morning featuring, Mackenzie Lawrence, mezzo soprano with John Martin, piano.
Join us for a concert of colour, contrast, and storytelling with soprano Mackenzie Lawrence and acclaimed Australian pianist/composer John Martin. The program spans the beauty of art song and the drama of opera, with music by Wolf, Rachmaninoff, Rossini and Meyerbeer, plus witty favourites from Flanders and Swann, and Gilbert and Sullivan. A special highlight is the premiere of John Martin’s new setting of The Lake Isle of Innisfree by Keats.
