Once More With Feeling @ Ngununggula

Once More With Feeling @ Ngununggula

Once More With Feeling features new and existing works by Karen Black, Georgia Spain, Cybele Cox and Michelle Ussher. The exhibition sets out to investigate the articulation of bodies, the relationship between the human form and culture, femininity, sexuality, theatre and ritual. Predominantly traversing sculpture, painting and sound, there is a quest to represent and challenge understandings of femininity - particularly the shapes, expressions and actions that are associated with female bodies. The four artists are celebrated for their perception, exposing the locations and moments in which mundane behaviours and movements blend into and expose the face of modern ritual. The gallery is open seven days a week and entry is FREE.

Bundanoon Winterfest 2023

Bundanoon Winterfest 2023

Bundanoon Winterfest has been running for over 12 years. It began when a group of Bundanoon locals wanted to create something to bring the community together in the middle of winter. As always there will be live music, food and drink stalls from local community organisations and businesses, and plenty of fun activities for adult and kids of all ages to enjoy. Each year there is a theme for the festival and in 2023 the festival theme is “Back to the Street”. This theme was designed as a celebration of the Winterfest returning to its spiritual home of the main street of Bundanoon. The street party will be on Saturday, 1st July from 5pm, with downtown Bundanoon becoming a winter wonderland with international food offerings, amusements rides, braziers, a host of entertainment and other surprises! Bring your family and settle in for an evening of family fun.
