Artist of the Month on 100% Home-Grown

Artist of the Month

Highland FM’s 100% Home-Grown feature artist is The Rich Pitcher.

The Rich Pitcher began their journey in Goulburn NSW as an acoustic duo in 2014. Wanting to develop a bigger sound, they have since expanded to a 5-piece band and are a local powerhouse known for energetic live performances.

Bringing their own unique twist to popular songs, The Rich Pitcher have predominantly been performing covers in local venues and at private events. After years of performing music created by other artists, The Rich Pitcher are taking on the original music scene.

In January 2020 the band recorded at the Old Binda Recording Studio in Crookwell, and went on to self-release the Honey EP with four original tracks showing off the own style to a wide fan base. With the band back together after COVID lockdown, they are eager to return to the studio to experiment with new sounds and create new music.  Their goal is to develop their sound and create an entertaining album designed with live performance in mind.
